Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026

Summary

We collect as little as we can. The Site uses cookieless analytics, our email list is run by beehiiv, and payments are handled by the platforms we sell on and their payment processors. We do not sell your personal information and we don't run ads or ad trackers.

Who is responsible

TidyKit Studio is operated by Kevin Cook dba TidyKit Studio, Ohio, USA. Contact: tidykitstudio@gmail.com.

Analytics (GoatCounter)

We use GoatCounter to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It records things like the page visited, referrer, browser, screen size and approximate country, and does not store your full IP address. We use it only to see which pages are useful.

Email list (beehiiv)

If you sign up, for example for a free template pack, your email address (and anything else you choose to provide) is stored by beehiiv, which sends our emails. beehiiv may record whether emails are opened or links clicked. We use your email only to send what you asked for and our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.

Purchases (Payhip, Gumroad, Etsy)

Checkout, payment and file delivery are handled by the platform you buy on (Payhip, Gumroad or Etsy) and their payment processors, such as Stripe or PayPal. They collect your card or payment details; we never see your full card number. The platform shares with us information such as your email, name (if given), what you bought and approximate location for tax purposes, so we can deliver products, provide support and process refunds. Each platform's own privacy policy also applies.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we keep the message and your address to reply and to keep a record of support requests, such as refunds.

How long we keep data

Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Purchase records are kept as long as needed for support, refunds and tax and accounting obligations. Analytics data is aggregate.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop emailing you, by writing to tidykitstudio@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Third-party links

The Site links to other services, including Canva, Google, Payhip, Gumroad, Etsy and beehiiv. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version.
