Terms of Service

1. Who we are

TidyKit Studio ("we", "us") is operated by Kevin Cook dba TidyKit Studio, based in Ohio, USA. These Terms cover your use of tidykitstudio.pages.dev (the "Site"), our email newsletter and our digital template products. By using the Site or buying a product, you agree to these Terms. 2. Purchases

Our templates are sold through third-party platforms, including Payhip, Gumroad and Etsy. These platforms and their payment processors handle checkout, payment and file delivery, and your purchase is also subject to the terms and privacy policy of the platform you buy on. Prices are shown on each product page at checkout. Products are digital downloads; nothing physical is shipped.

3. 14-day money-back guarantee

If a template isn't right for you, email tidykitstudio@gmail.com (or contact us through the platform you bought on) within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. No reason required. Refunds go back to your original payment method through the platform you bought on; timing depends on that platform and your bank. After a refund, please delete your copies of the product.

4. Template license

When you buy or download a template you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use and edit it for your personal use and for your own business, for example adding your business name, logo, prices and details, and printing or posting the result for your own customers.

You may not:

Canva and Google Docs/Sheets are third-party tools with their own terms. Any fonts, graphics or elements provided by those tools are licensed under their terms, not ours.

5. Templates are not legal advice

Some templates, such as service agreements, intake forms and policies, are starting points only. They are not legal, tax, insurance or other professional advice, and using them does not create an attorney-client relationship. Laws differ by state and situation. Review and adapt any document to your business, and have a qualified professional in your area check contracts and policies before you rely on them. You are responsible for how you use the templates.

6. Free content and newsletter

Free templates, guides and the newsletter are provided as-is and are covered by the same license as paid templates. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Site: no attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to it, no scraping for redistribution, and no use of our materials to break the law.

8. Intellectual property

The Site, templates, text, graphics and branding are owned by Kevin Cook dba TidyKit Studio and protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the license above, no rights are granted. Canva, Google, Etsy, Gumroad and Payhip are trademarks of their owners; TidyKit Studio is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site and templates are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or business disputes arising from use of a template, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in question in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer protection laws where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. Changes apply from the date they are posted and do not affect purchases already made.
