How the estimate is calculated

Standard-clean hours = 0.5 + 0.3 × bedrooms + 0.5 × bathrooms + 0.5 × (square feet ÷ 1,000)
Cleaning type: hours × 1.0 standard, 1.6 deep, 1.8 move-out
Pets: hours × 1.1 (10% more time for hair and dander)
Labor = estimated hours × your hourly rate
Frequency discount on labor: 15% weekly, 10% every 2 weeks, 5% monthly, 0% one-time (deep and move-out are always one-time)
Estimate = labor − discount + add-on price, rounded to the nearest $5

The weights are simple starting assumptions, not industry data. Time your own jobs for a few weeks and adjust your hourly rate until the estimates match your real times and costs. Example: a 3-bed, 2-bath, 1,800 sq ft standard clean every 2 weeks at $50/hour is 3.3 hours, $165 of labor, minus 10% = $148.50, which rounds to an estimate of $150.
