Free cleaning business templates: the First Clients Kit

Starting a house cleaning business means writing a lot of marketing from scratch: social posts, replies to new inquiries, flyers and a plan for where to find clients. The First Clients Kit is a free set of editable templates for exactly that. It's made for residential cleaners and small maid services, and everything opens in Canva, Google Slides, Google Docs or Google Sheets.

What's in the free kit

The download is a ZIP of 29 files.

Who it's for

New and solo house cleaners and small maid services who want to fill their schedule without designing or writing marketing from scratch. It isn't built for commercial or janitorial companies, and it isn't a custom logo or brand design.

How to use it in your first week

  1. Brand the posts. In Canva, go to Create a design > Import file and upload the PPTX. In Google Slides, use File > Import slides. Replace the business name, every [bracket] and every $___ with your details.
  2. Save the reply texts as text replacements or quick replies on your phone, so you can answer a new inquiry quickly.
  3. Pick one item from the marketing checklist and do it this week, then follow the 30-day posting plan.

One rule for every template: only claim what is true for your business. Don't say insured, bonded or licensed unless you are. The templates leave those details blank on purpose.

FAQ

Are these cleaning business templates really free?

Yes. The First Clients Kit is listed at $0 on Payhip. The paid TidyKit packs are separate, and their prices are shown on each product page.

What do I need to edit the templates?

A free Canva or Google account is enough. The social posts come as PPTX and SVG files for Canva or Google Slides, the documents are DOCX for Google Docs or Word, and the posting plan is also an XLSX for Google Sheets or Excel.

Can I put my own business name and logo on the posts?

Yes. Every design is editable. Replace the TidyKit Studio name, the placeholders in brackets and the colors with your own.

Is the free kit the same as the Client Scripts Pack?

No. The free kit has 5 basic reply texts. The $12 Client Scripts Pack has text, email and phone scripts for 10 situations, including price increase notices, complaint handling and price objections.
